Specifically, NetBeans can't set environment variables before running in the IDE, but Eclipse has really clumsy ant integration.
Hmm, half-way debating going back to NetBeans. The Eclipse switch seems to switch one set of annoyances for another.
Just did the jump from NetBeans to Eclipse for the (little) Java that I do. Have no fear, Emacsees, I am still true to the fold in non-Java.
